Beautiful smiles, sunshine and fresh air… That’s what was in store for Labor Day 2011. I had such a great time hiking and hanging out with the Papadopoulos family.

You know…kids always fascinate me, Theo {love his name} was so engrossed in exploring this new territory that he hardly noticed I was following him around with a giant camera!  Here are a few moments I captured from our time together.

There is something very refreshing about photographing a brand new human being, good energy just emulates from the household. My photojournalistic approach to newborn photography is to capture the spirit of the entire family as they enjoy the transition. Focusing on Jaclyn’s little nose and tiny toes was so much fun, I’m looking forward to watching her grow!

Ann & Larry Lodge were recently visited by The Stork with baby girl, Maggie. I had so much fun taking pictures of this sweet little peanut. I’m totally looking forward to watching her grow up, so stay tuned…

Yes, this whopper of a babe was 10 lbs… nearly 1/10th of his mothers weight! Between all of my model’esq nieces and nephews, I couldn’t be more proud of my sisters and brother in law’s for what they’ve accomplished, {great job Kristy & Luke and Courtney & Dan}!

I found a little time to post some end of summer pics. Of course they’re of my favorite little people, Kyleigh and Cohen!!! Talk about a niece and nephew duo that will color your world in ways you never thought possible. From Spark, passion, laughter and spunk…. to funk, love and Cohen makin’ slam dunks! {Did I ever mention, in addition to his devilishly handsome looks, he’s also a basketball prodigy!}  I really enjoyed capturing their sweet expressions and hope you can hear the laughter as loud as I can!

Oh Hey! Thought I fell off the face of the earth didn’t you?! You haven’t seen me because… well… I’ve been LIVIN IT UP {and soakin up the hot rays of JULY}! Last weekend I flew home to celebrate a LOT of things {my niece Lily’s Baptism, to celebrate a new Baby Vogel, to see my Brother Waylon who serves in the Air Force, and to have Justin meet the fam}… I had the time of my LIFE! I hope you enjoy my family as much as I do and I hope your summer is shining bright.
