If I were to re-do my wedding and have it in the summer I think I would hire Samm to help me with the details. I loved her whole theme, which I’ve dubbed Rustic Glam-Star, let’s start from the top.
I walked into the Burnham house (Samm’s parents) and saw Samm (looking glitzed out already) and we screamed!!! “AAAHHH (I’M) (YOU’RE) GETTING MARRIED” so that was the type of energy that filled the house, so fun. She got ready, the girls got ready and everyone was in good spirits. We then hopped in the car and drove to one of the most beautiful churches I’ve seen so far in New England. The First Church in Wenham was a gorgeous, pure white, light filled, magical place. Seriously, magic.
After the nuptials were exchanged, we headed on over to the Smith Barn in Peabody. What a cool venue! It’s the first time I’d been there and there was so much character about the place. Touched up with Samm’s hot pink (love) and glitter accessories, it was on and poppin’. They had a beautiful cocktail hour outside while we took pictures, and then danced the night away to the Lisa Love Experience, which was equally off the hook. Samm and Matt got up and sang with the band, which I was not surprised because they’re so awesome, that’s just how they do things… but it was still hilarious to see Samm belting out “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” in her wedding gown.
As if that wasn’t enough… the night was then topped off. Yes, above all that, there was one more little surprise. The band started singing Sweet Caroline… and the crowd parted down the middle as if Moses himself were coming to the party. Who else but the Fenway Frank guy showed up with his sausage cart!!! What the?!?!
With that, I give to you, the Samm and Matt wedding extravaganza!!! Enjoy
Peace, Love and The Love of Hot Pink,
