Lately, life has felt like it is moving faster than I can hold onto it. I made this image with a long exposure, letting the light stretch and soften across the water. I think that is what I am always trying to do with photography anyway — slow something down long enough to really see it.
Maybe that is the gift of paying attention: not stopping time, exactly, but noticing what was beautiful while it was passing.
