A Welcome Home Session is designed to honor those first days of connection, love and quiet wonder.
Photographed in the comfort of your own home, these sessions capture the authentic rhythm of your new beginning… siblings meeting for the first time, quiet - unhurried cuddles, and the soft radiant glow of love filling your space.
These photographs are more than portraits. They are a storytelling experience - a sanctuary where your family’s becoming is beautifully seen.
What to Expect:
Welcome Home Newborn Sessions in 3 Simple Steps
A Gentle Beginning
Get in touch around your 3rd trimester so I can reserve space for your session. It’s best to photograph within the first two weeks of life, when babies are naturally sleepier and days move softly.
Once your baby arrives, you’ll text me and we’ll choose a date that feels right for both of us. I typically arrive mid-morning and photograph for about an hour - always allowing extra time if your baby needs it.
You’ll also receive a simple guide so you feel relaxed and prepare on the day.
A Heartfelt session
On the day, I’ll step quietly into your home, photographing the real beauty of your first days together… cuddles, feedings, siblings meeting, and the quiet in-between moments that tell your story.
I’ll offer gentle posing guidance for family portraits, but mostly I’m there to document natural connection, allowing your baby and your family to lead.
A Legacy to hold
Within a few weeks, you’ll receive a thoughtfully curated gallery of images that reflect your family’s becoming.
These photographs are designed to become timeless heirlooms - the first chapter of your child’s story, preserved with care.
Every session includes an 8x8 album and 4x6 prints.
